Dr. Michelle Gonzalez serves as the Physician Relations and Continuing Education Coordinator at CorrectVision Laser Institute. She designs and oversees advanced educational programming for the regional medical community. Dr. Gonzalez is responsible for curating clinical seminars and workshops that keep local optometrists at the forefront of surgical co-management and ocular therapeutics.

By bridging the gap between research and clinical practice, she ensures that the institute remains a hub for professional development and collaborative medical excellence. Dr. Gonzalez provides comprehensive eye exams, refractive surgery consultations, and expert pre- and post-operative care, working intimately with referring providers to maintain a seamless, high-standard continuum of care for every patient.

Dr. Gonzalez earned her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2003, and she completed a Residency in Primary Care, Cornea, and Contact Lenses. As a member of the Optometric Honors Society, she was recognized with Awards of Excellence in Primary Care, Ocular Disease, and Contact Lenses. Her extensive background in clinical research includes studies in amblyopia, ocular surface disease, and contact lenses.

A Miami native of Cuban-American descent, Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in English and Spanish. She is an active member of the Florida and Broward County Optometric Associations and is the Treasurer of the BCOA. She also enjoys reading and traveling with her family.
