Bladeless LASIK surgery utilizes a femtosecond laser to create that same-hinged flap of corneal tissue with equal results. The success rate of this method provides patients with an alternative way to correct their eye problems as opposed to the traditional method.

Both methods of LASIK surgery have been proven to be safe and effective; however the bladeless option holds some important advantages.
