Ages 18-45

Natural Adult Vision

Your natural adult vision is typically stabilized by the time you reach the age of 18. By this age, your eyesight can range from sharp 20/20 vision to varying degrees of Nearsightedness, Farsightedness and Astigmatism.

These common vision problems may require that you wear glasses or contact lenses to see clearly. Luckily, today you have many options for vision correction, allowing you an excellent chance at 20/20 vision. The right choice for you will depend on the results we gather during a comprehensive, free Vision Consultation. At CorrectVision Laser Institute we offer:

  • TruHD LASIK™
  • Traditional LASIK
  • EVO Visian ICL
  • PRK

TruHD LASIK™

TruHD LASIK is the most advanced all-laser refractive surgery
available. The process utilizes height data-guided mapping technology to create a map of the unique imperfections in your
cornea’s curvature and optics. This information is used to guide our advanced femtosecond and excimer lasers (WaveLight FS200 and the WaveLight EX500) to devise a truly customized treatment plan to create the corneal flap and smooth the cornea to its optimal shape

Benefits of TruHD LASIK™

Clinically proven to help over 90% of patients see as well or better than with glasses.

Customizable to your unique imperfections.

Return to normal activities the next day.

Virtually painless.

Procedure takes just 5 minutes per eye.

Permanent solution.

Traditional LASIK

In traditional LASIK, an instrument known as a microkeratome cuts a thin, hinged flap into the eye’s clear surface (cornea). The flap then is lifted for application of laser energy that reshapes the eye for vision correction. The WaveLight EX500 laser then is used to permanently reshape the corneal surface of your eyes, allowing light to properly focus on your retina for clear vision.

Benefits of Traditional LASIK

Return to normal activities the next day.

Virtually painless.

Procedure takes just 5 minutes per eye.

EVO Visian ICL

If you have moderate to severe nearsightedness, have thin corneas or suffer from dry eye, you may be better suited for an implantable collamer lens (ICL). The EVO Visian ICL is a biocompatible corrective lens that is placed into the eye behind the iris. Unlike a regular contact lens that sits on top of the cornea, the ICL cannot be removed manually. It requires no maintenance to achieve clear vision daily.

Benefits of EVO Visian ICL

Natural eye lens is not changed.

Can be removed or enhanced by your doctor as your vision changes.

Return to normal activities the next day.

Virtually painless.

Procedure takes just 5 minutes per eye.

PRK

If you have been turned down for LASIK due to thin corneas, PRK is often an excellent alternative. The process uses the same WaveLight EX500 excimer laser technology to alter your corneal shape by applying laser treatment to the outer surface of the cornea. There is no corneal flap created. Recovery times are typically longer than with LASIK.

Benefits of PRK

Similar vision results as with LASIK.

Permanent solution.

Virtually painless.

Procedure takes just 5 minutes per eye.
