Dr. Marc E. Bosem, the visionary founder and Medical Director of CorrectVision Laser Institute, is a nationally recognized pioneer with over 30 years of expertise in refractive and laser-assisted surgery. Since establishing his practice in 1995 to serve South Florida, he has remained at the forefront of ophthalmology as one of the first surgeons in the United States to perform many of the industry’s most advanced LASIK and cataract techniques.

Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Bosem is an active member of the Refractive Surgery Alliance, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). His reputation for surgical precision led him to serve as the official eye surgeon for the Florida Panthers professional hockey team during their Stanley Cup-winning era.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Bosem is the founder of GPO4Eyes, a logistics and purchasing organization that helps practices of all sizes aggregate volume to lower costs and improve patient access to care.
Education & Academic Contributions
Dr. Bosem earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas and a prestigious fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
An accomplished researcher and author, Dr. Bosem has published numerous studies on laser vision correction and glaucoma. He frequently lectures at national and international meetings, sharing his findings on corneal laser treatments to advance the global science of sight.
He maintains surgical privileges at Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital West, and Broward Health Medical Center.
