Dr. Giovanni Taibbi

CorrectVision Laser Institute is excited to welcome Dr. Giovanni Taibbi to our team. Dr. Taibbi is a Fellowship-trained refractive surgeon who previously practiced in Galveston, Texas. Born in Italy, Dr. Taibbi received his medical degree in Milan, Italy, at Università degli Studi di Milano. His medical training continued in the United States where he completed an internship in internal medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then traveled to Weston, Florida, to complete his Fellowship in refractive surgery through the Refractive Surgery Alliance Fellowship Network with us at CorrectVision Laser Institute.

Dr. Taibbi has been involved in glaucoma research, including NASA-funded research projects. He is a member of many professional organizations including the Refractive Surgery Alliance Society, International Society of Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, The National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi) and Italian Scientists and Scholars of North America Foundation. He has co-authored many articles in peerreviewed journals as well as book chapters and abstracts.
