I was scared. Fear of the unknown. The trick is getting the first eye done. First they cut the flap with a lazer. It literally takes 20 seconds. Then they do the other eye. Then they move you to the lazer ( a few feet over) that will correct your vision. That process took about 3 to 4 minutes per eye and it went very fast. On a level of 1 to 10 for discomfort it was a 1. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. If you dont like being in small spaces when the laser is over your face that may bother you as it did me, but that is all in your head. Over all the experience was good. The procedure was fast, no pain, and it worked. You will feel a burning in your eyes a couple hours after the numbing drop wear off, so do not go out to eat or play etc. Take some motrin and go to sleep. When u wake up your eyes will feel just fine. I also found that the pricing was better than other places that offer this new best lazer.
Dr. Bosem and his team were very pleasant. They explained every aspect of the LASIK procedure and asked all my questions accordingly and in a very friendly manner. The actual procedure of itself was quick and virtually painless and took very little time. It was an overall great experience and I would recommend his office to anyone looking for the procedure.
