Dr. Marc Bosem
Marc Emory Bosem, MD is the medical director of the CorrectVision Laser Institute and is a graduate of the University of Miami Medical School. He has been performing eye surgery since 1992, and is among the first in the U.S. to perform many of most advanced techniques in LASIK, LASEK/PRK, and other vision correction procedures. Dr. Bosem is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and he is also certified as a LASIK surgeon from Moria and Bausch & Lomb. He has written a number of publications on laser vision correction surgery, glaucoma treatment, and cataract surgery. Dr. Bosem offers expertise and specialization in a number of vision correction procedures, including LASIK, LASEK/PRK, RK, ALK, AK, Verisyse, Restor, and Crystalens lens implants.
Dr. Bosem is known as one of the leading refractive surgeons in the nation. He has performed thousands of vision corrective procedures and has been active in research into the effects of corneal laser treatment (front of the eye). Dr. Bosem has lectured and presented his research and techniques to numerous national and international meetings.
Dr. Bosem earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he achieved Honors in Research. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University Of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Bosem then performed a fellowship in research at the University of California San Diego, studying the effects of excimer laser systems as well as the treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Bosem has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1997, and is an active member of prestigious medical organizations such as:

- The Miami Ophthalmologic Society
- The International Society of Refractive Surgery
